Support Without Substitution
Placeholder article. Support Without Substitution is the idea that useful support increases a person's participation in their own life rather than taking that participation over.
You may need enough space to see what is already there.
A mirror, not an authority.
KaiWay is being built to make a situation easier to see, without deciding what it means. It separates what happened, what is being experienced, what may be interpreted and what remains unknown — then hands the decision back.
In practice it is short: you describe something, it is returned to you more clearly, you decide what if anything deserves your attention, and you go back to your life.
KaiWay is a reflective system currently in development. It does not replace therapy or professional support, and it does not require a particular spiritual or philosophical worldview.

Principles
Your life remains yours.
Support should help participation, not replace it.
Not everything needs deeper reflection.
The destination is outside the tool.
Other people, places, relationships and ordinary life provide information no reflective system can manufacture.

Useful reflection should eventually become unnecessary.
KaiWay is in development and is not yet publicly available. The work separates what has been lived, what has been observed, what is being proposed and what remains unknown.
How KaiWay is being developedDaniel Frith is an Australian educator and facilitator. KaiWay emerged through his lived practice, and is being built so that no one has to adopt his worldview to find it useful.

KaiWay Principles
Placeholder article. Reflection should stop when it stops adding clarity — when the next useful thing belongs to ordinary life rather than to another round of thinking.
Human Authority
Placeholder article. Human authority means the person keeps the final say over meaning and decisions, even when a system can describe their situation clearly.
